Hi Todd,

is your client base stored in Account object?

If yes, you can go to custom admin profile and remove access to Account, or other objects that contain details about client .

However always remember Admin access is god like access, admin user can go to setup and give his/her own self access to client Base again

You can use audit trail to monitor actions of your admin user
