Create Record Permission

Question

I have successfully removed the new button from related lists on Accounts/Contacts Objects, but I would also like to remove the New button from the Recently Viewed lists for both Objects.

I have found I can do that in Object Permissions, however, the reason I want to remove the New button in those lists is because I have a custom button that runs a create record flow that I would like to replace it with.

is this possible?

Go to your object's buttons and links and override the standard new button with custom page.

Setup | Objects manager | Account/contact | Buttons, Links, and Actions| Cick on Edit next to the Standard New button and override it.
