picklist field not available when creating a new path

Trying to create a new Path on the contract object on a record type "bill" and the only picklist available is the "status" standard picklist field. We created a new picklist field called "bill_status__c" but cannot get it to show up when creating a new path.

Hi Scott,

You need to activate picklist values for each Record Type, here is a link for help
