I'm trying to trigger a flow when a custom checkbox field gets checked on an Account record (Send_Renewal_Agreement__c). It's supposed to create a new record when the checkbox is checked. (I know I can do it with Process Builder and Apex, but I need to use flow for this).

So far, I can only figure out how to set up a Flow that triggers whenever an Account record is updated; it doesn't matter which field. Is there a way to set up a flow that only triggers when the checkbox field is checked (changed from false to true)?

    Hi Linda,

Flow cannot be triggered for a specific value change. You may need to use Process Builder and Automated Flow both to achieve this requirement.

Create a Process Builder to validate if Send_Renewal_Agreement__c is changed on Account record then add action to call newly created automated flow and pass Account Id as Parameter. (You may pass more values as per requirement)

    New Flow:

    Create an Automated lightning Flow

Create a new variable to receive Account Id as Input parameter

Get Records from Account Object to get the details based on AccountId

Use Create record to create new record

Save then flow and activate it.
