Basically, we have a custom object- PMs. PMs are scheduled on a quarterly basis on to the appropriate users Salesforce schedule(it varies and is not an exact science). On occasion we have additonal needs to be done on that PM. I am looking for a way to note this and have an email alert sent to a few users when the PM is scheduled so they can all be aware and make sure this work happens.
My thought process was to create a task for this extra work and relate it to the PM, but there really is no exact due date. And then I don't know how I can create a workflow for an email alert off of tasks.
Any suggestions to accomplish our end goal?
