In the campaign section of SFDC -- if you select Campaign ROI Analysis Report, it shows you the ROI by campaign of all campaign members.  Campaign members can be leads and contacts.  How can I show how many opportunities were generated from leads vs contacts?

Basically, as a marketer, I need to demonstrate how much net-new marketing is bringing to the table in leads + dollars.  I used to have this dashboard a few lives ago, but can't seem to figure out how to set it up now.

    Hi Michelle,

You can do this by involving a small custom. This is the approach.

On the campaign Object you need to create two formula fields.

    1. Total Opportunities created on Lead converstion  (Formula would be NumberOfConvertedLeads)

    2. Total Opportunities created under contact ( Formula will be NumberOfOpportunities - NumberOfConvertedLeads)

Now add these two fields in your Report

Do let me know if you have any more questions, i would be glad to help you.

    Regards,
