Forumla field determining picklist field

I have a formula field that gives me a numeric value. I would like to have another picklist field that would be determined by the value of the formula field. i.e. formula value = 150 or less picklist field will auto select to low, 151 to 300 picklist field will auto select to moderate, etc. What is the best way to do this?
