Hmm, IMO MailChimp is one of the better integrated email service providers (specifically the list management and syncing), so you won't find anything much easier to connect. Typically I let the app handle the list syncing between Salesforce and then prepare and schedule in advance my emails in the MailChimp interface. Using segments and custom fields has allowed me to run a pretty tight relationship management email system.
Unfortunately I can't really vouch for other services as I've not used them yet. Sorry about that.
