I have been successfully merging contacts until about a week ago. Your solution provider has been notified. (npe01) Any ideas for a solution?

Looks like you are using the NPSP? Has the NPSP been upgraded since the last time your merge worked?

Contact merge error: Attempt to de-reference a null object

I have been successfully merging contacts until about a week ago. I now get the following message:

Attempt to de-reference a null object

Error is in expression '{!nextStep}' in component <apex:commandButton> in page npe01:contactmerge

An unexpected error has occurred. Your solution provider has been notified. (npe01)

Any ideas for a solution?
