I recently heard of "divisions" in Salesforce for the first time, and was curious to learn more. I can't seem to easily enable it in my dev org to play around with it, so I have a few quetsions:

 

- You have to ask SF to enable it?

 

- It's enabled on each object individually?

 

- It's really only meant for when you have 1,000,000+ records for a single Object? Does that means you can't use it if you have less than that? Why wouldn't you want it for smaller orgs?

 

- Any blogs or videos out that that show what it looks like? I think the name, being so generic, makes it hard to search for.

    Yep, I read those. I don't think that mentions the 1M record thing, I read that on a different thread on the community. And while it seems to be enabled on objects indvidually I couldn't figure out how. For example, to enable it on custom objects it says:

    "For custom objects, select Enable Divisions on the custom object definition page to enable divisions."

    But I couldn't find where to do this. What is the "custom object definition page"? I looked here and didn't see anything:
