Web to case can't handle special characters

Question

Some of our web to case form submissions aren't reaching Salesforce, they are the ones that contain special characters such as å and ö.  I'm pretty sure this wasn't an issue in the past, has anyone else had this problem?

Hi Sara,

Whats your encoding on your web form? HTTP specify it in a Content-Type header, overriding the meta tag

The issue may be on the pages where your Web-to-Case form is placed.
