Objects for recipient to and relatedToType for new User Template for Portal

I'm using a visualforce email template. What objects go into the recipient to and relatedToType for the new user template on the customer portal? I'm assuming one of them is the User object? If so why can't I access the languagelocalekey field on the user object? Do I need to write a custom controller so I can reference this field?

    Hey,

     

    recipientType would be "User" and relatedToType would be your in context Object like Case or Contact.

     

    have you tried accessing it like :

     

    language="{!relatedTo.User.languagelocalekey}"
