Hide Sent Via Information on HTML Email

Question

We are using HTML emails together with templates to send emails to prospects. When prospects are responding we have noticed that the original email says it was sent by user that did in fact initiate the email however it also shows that it was sent via salesforce. How do we hide the sent via salesforce? Is there a setting to simply turn this off?

Sounds like your Compliance email is set up.  are the reciepients seeing  no-reply@salesforce.com ? If so  - Setup - Email Administration - Compliance BCC Email and disable and Deliverabilty Email Security Enable ID Compliance. Before you turn it off you should also think about the consequences of turning it off.
