in report, click on contact to correct error. easiest way back to where i was?

Question

I'd like to be able to switch back and forth from a report to a contact, without leaving the report for the contact, and starting over - reports, choosing report, running the report, scrolling down to where i was and clicking hte next contact i find with an error.  suggestions would be much appreciated.

I do exactly what Bryan noted as well. One other option is the Console. Check Your Name > Setup > Customize > Console to see if it's available to you. This allows you to take List Views of objects and display them in one pane. When you click one, the details for that record show up in the pane below, no page reload required.   Here's a good overview of the tool:  http://forcecertified.com/2009/04/17/salesforce-console/
