How can certain user be prevented from sending out chatter invitations?

After allowing chatter invitations, all users have the ability to send the invitation. Is there a way to only allow some users to perform this?

Enabling Chatter invitatations unfortunately cannot be specified by user. This is a permission that is set at the corporate level. To enable, or disable this permission from all users, go to: Setup - Customize - Chatter - Settings. Then click edit, and either check or uncheck the allow chatter invitations checkbox, and click save.
