Salesforce for Outlook Attachments - Attaching to the wrong record

I have an email that has an attachment.  In outlook, I pick the opportunity that I want to attach the email to (click the envelope for that opportunity and it turns green) Then, I have the option to click the envelope for the attachment.  I click the envelope and it turns green.  When I go into SFDC, the email is attached to the opportunity, but my attachment is at the account.  It needs to be at the opportunity.  Can someone please help???  Thanks, Nikki ~

    Hi Nikki,

     

    Unfortunately this is the standard behaviour of Salesforce.

     

    Currently, when there are Attachments on a Task or Event that is related to an Account, Contact, or Opportunity, those Attachments will roll-up to appear in the Notes & Attachments related list on the Account record. 

     

    However, the attachment does not appear in the Notes & Attachments related list on the object itself (that the task is related to). It only shows on the related Account record if it is a Contact / Opportunity that the task is related to.

     

    I would recommend you to vote and promote this Idea.
