does anyone here have access to the teams pilot yet? we signed the agreement on sept 22 but i dont see it in setup and have not heard from anyone at the mothership. just got w21 in prod over the weekend and want to kick the tires on this!
Got setup today. Enjoying kicking the tires, a few comments below
a) would be good to include a connected app w the install, as more folks are using api client whitelisting. Without a connected app, the admin has to first authenticate as a user who has use any api endpoint permission, and then find the app in connected app oauth usage, install the app, and then grant permission to it. Also for some reason the app showed up as blocked, though it was not. (screenshot attached)
b) allow platform users to use this for account/contacts the 'use teams integration' permission cant be assigned to platform users at present.
c) hovering over related records (eg contact on accounts) did not work - just flashed an empty card, no data
d) hope that access to custom objects will come in the future, along with the ability to use with platform users
e) I am going to look at tweaking my chatter publisher to see if its possible to create opps, activities, etc, via the publisher. we are not optimized for lex yet. hopefully that is possible.
