I am getting the following prompt from Salesforce whenever, I try to edit an existing user profile via SETUP - USERS - PROFILES. I have system administrator rights and am the admin of this partial copy sandbox.

To log in, you need both a higher access level and an identity verification method. Contact your administrator to gain login access.

There are multiple changes and developments done in this sandbox and I'd rather not refresh the sandbox. What must or can be done to resolve the above mentioned error notification, and most importantly allow the admin to execute basic org administration tasks and activities? Please assist. Thank you.,

I switched everything to 'NONE" and now I'm able to edit again. Thanks.

However, before this 'fix' when Salesforce was prompting me for an identify verification, I was receiving verification codes via my e-mail, however I could not enter them anywhere in Salesforce. I checked if my Google Chrome browser was limiting this due to any pop-up blocker, but this was not the case. Without any pop-up blocker in the browser I could not find the window or field to enter the e-mailed verification code. Would still like to find out where the verification code must be entered when i enable the HA restrictions again.
