Hi Everyone,
I'm weaving my way through Lead to Contact conversion in Lightning. I have duplicate detection on, when I click on View Duplicates the attached screen shot implies there may be scenarios when you can merge the lead to the contact (why else would there be a Next button).
However, I can't find any document on rules of when this merge can happen.
Any insight or best practices would be greatly appreciated!

@Cheryl Snowdon you cannot merge a lead into a contact (or vice versa); however, you can convert a lead into an existing contact. You can do this directly off of our Lightning conversion modal / subtab!
