Is it possible to add a custom button, link or quick action to a Lightning Home page? We have a Google Doc that our VP of sales wants as a custom link on our home page. I'm not sure how to do this, if it can even be done.

@Robin Danahy Apart from Rich text component, you can use a custom help menu to show it. Read here:- https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=customhelp_lexhelpmenu.htm&type=5 It will be available on the right top of the screen under question mark irrespective of where your users are.
