Greetings, Lightning fans!
We're almost there - to the point where even I, ever the conservative when it comes to UI issues, who began his career in the early 2000's using and loving antiquated "green screen" interfaces using keyboard navigation, am about ready to concede to switching to Lighting as first choice, not my conditionally accepted one. What is pushing me over the line is the new "Full View" beta in Summer '19, which gives me the dense classic look I want when I flip it over to "related lists" focus.
There's only one problem - boy, is it slow. That's a lightning problem in general but here it is massive. The bigger problem for me is that there is no way to load a record page in full, you can only load what's on-screen and then if you scroll, you must load some more. This is excruciating on large record pages. Is there a way to make it otherwise? I would be happy with a wait proportional to the size of the record at the beginning if it meant I could scroll up and down without having to wait through additional load times.
Thanks in advance for your input!
WOW. OK. I spend time talking to people with 100's of custom fields on page layouts. @Geraldine Gray is a CPQ expert, so maybe she has some recommendations
