I have several complex Home Links in Classic that each launch a custom Conga Composer process to generate data needed for quarterly regulatory reporting. I can't find a substitute location in Lightning to put these links so I am switching to Classic when I need to run the reports.
The links are not object-specific so it doesn't make sense to embed them on a page layout but that seems to be my only option.
Is there a way to embed custom links on a Lightning Home Page or in a Lightning Component?

@Allen Moy I think that's exactly the method that is required. The documentation we have tends to be Classic focused so if that works for you, then you are good.
