Should we be able to send emails from cases in the lightning service console? I'm in our sandbox. I see the Service Console App that was deployed. I would like to add the that action either as a related list like in Classic or in the feed. Can't seem to be able to figure out how.
Go into the Case Action for SendEmail and switch the Text Body to HTML Body in the layout. That'll allow you to use rich text, embed inline images, etc. We rolled out LEX Service Cloud Console (beta) to the team about a month and a half ago and that was definitely a concern of ours! (I can also confirm that at least in our Summer 17 sandbox, the image render as expected in Customer Community Case Feeds).
Edit: Sorry, just to be clear, I'm referring to sending via the Feed Publisher. In Summer 17, there will be even more improvements to the HTML editor:
