Simple URL for content deliveries??

We would like to use Content and Content Deliveries (URL) on our website and also to use when sharing docs. with contacts/leads. One issue that we have: Long URL that includes SFDC info.

Is there a way to use a "Vanity" domain/url to hide/shorten all of the characters? We could use Bitly or TinyURL but then we have to maintain another URL and have at visible in SF.

Any ideas/suggestions?
