Our Spring '15 Release is right around the corner.
Depending on your current Sandbox instance, you might need to refresh before 11:59 PM PST on Jan 2 to get access to the Spring '15 release in your sandbox. (See the linked post for more specifics on preview instances.)
We recommend that each org has at least one sandbox on the new release. This will give you the opportunity to run tests on the new release as well as get hands-on access to the upcoming new features and enhancements.
Spring '15 Timelines to consider:
+ Sandboxes on the preview instances will be updated on the weekend of Jan 9th.
+ Tentative release schedule for Production orgs:

. 02/06/2015: NA6, NA7, NA8, NA9, NA17, EU5
. 02/13/2015: EU0, EU1, EU2, EU3, NA0, NA2, NA3, NA4, NA5, NA10, NA11, NA12,
