CLAIRE GPT is a standalone service within IDMC. It connects to other IDMC services—including data governance and catalog, data quality, data marketplace, master data management, and data integration—through a single, intuitive interface. You ask a question or give an instruction, and CLAIRE GPT gets to work.
Every instruction you give CLAIRE GPT—whether it’s a question, a command, or a task—is called a prompt. You don’t write code. You just type something such as, “Show me the data quality of my customer records,” and CLAIRE GPT searches through your metadata to find the answer.
CLAIRE Agents
Behind every response, CLAIRE GPT relies on specialized AI agents that follow instructions and work autonomously on your behalf. These agents plan and execute complex tasks on their own.
CLAIRE has four agents.
- Discovery agent: Finds and verifies the best, most reliable data for your projects by searching across all your IDMC services
- Data quality agent: Monitors and fixes data quality issues by assessing quality scores, diagnosing root causes, recommending rules, and cleansing problematic data
- Data integration agent: Simplifies data transformation by generating extract, load, transform (ELT) pipelines and managing mappings in the data integration service
- Product help agent: Answers questions about IDMC by drawing on Informatica’s documentation, knowledge base, and how-to articles
