I have a dataflow that gets Amount from Opportunity. Multi Currency is enabled. When I extract the data, the value is coming back in the based currency instead of the currency the record was originally entered in.  Is there a setting to stop this ? @Daniel Glogowski  @Danny Lai

    I'm not 100% sure I follow the concern, but the whole idea of appending (rather than just augmenting) is to ensure that the subsequent computeRelative node picks up all close dates in the period between the start of that period and the subsequent one (if it exists)

I am using dataflow and I want to filter the Dated Conversion Rate table based upon the close date in the Opportunity SObject.   In other words I want to get the currency rate for an opportunity based on the close date. How do I do this in a dataflow?   #Wavetechlounge  #WA-Answer  #AskTheACExperts  #Ask Salesforce Anything  @Daniel Glogowski  @Ziad Fayad @Mustapha El Hassak @Ed Sandoval #Multi Currency

Posting @Michael Kunz's question: Can the templates be based on datasets created by recipes?  The templates there are great but it's only based on SFDC data and has limited customization.

    And @Skip Sauls's response - not at the moment. As it's more of an advanced feature, it's not currently priority.

Was anyone able to use the "in" operator of security predicate?  I tried it but got "not authorized" error.  The org has a single select picklist field Product_Line__c in the Opportunity object.  The User object has a multi-select picklist called Product_Line_Access__c.  I would like to grant access to opportunities by product line and each user may manage one product line or multiple product lines.  Here's the code I inserted in security predicate: 'Product_Line__c' in ["$User.Product_Line_Access__c"].  I was able to update the dataset without error message.  However, when i tried to access the dataset, I got not authorized error.  Thanks for sharing your experience!

#WaveTechLounge Can we use Actions to navigate to a specific custom page, like one created for closing the Opportunity? Will that be using URL? So the "open record" will redirect you to that particular custom page and not the default Opporunity page.

    Hi Mariano, yes, you can use the URL option to link to a destination in your Salesforce org. If you have the Opportunity ID in the dataset, you can specify a link like:

    {{row.<OpportunityIDfieldname>}}

Hi there, just want to make sure I understand how I can add a company logo say 100px by 100px to the top left corner of a dashboard?

Another question - is there any "template" that I can add the company logo to, so that ALL dashboards that I create will automatically have that logo so I don't have to do it for every dashboard in my Wave App?

Thanks

    I do what Danny suggests about templates. This works great if the client has a set of filters they want on every dashboard also. Lately though, I'm finding a lot of clients saying "What's with the logo? I already know where I work. Put something else there."

Can we use these record actions in the community, logged in as a community user?

    Yes, unfortunately for the limited community user license, Actions is a feature that we still need technical and licensing work to deliver.
