Parameter Values based on another parameter selection

Like lets say parametre 1 has values of

Category,

Maps,

Metrics

and based on the selection of parameter 1

parameter 2 values would be

if category is selected then cateogry,subcateogry,

if maps is selected then market,region,site

if metrics is selected then sales,case,gp

this would allow user to make a selection on parametre 1 and see the possible selections for that selection in parameter 2

this doesnt have to be done through parameters, if there is a better way . then that would work as well
