As per the below screenshot, I would like to add the State name to my tooltip on the hex map. However, when I drop State to the tooltip card, I get ATTR(State) and it doesn't show in the tooltip. Any advice on how to work around this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Amy

Whenever Blending of data sources is involved, it's often the cause of any problems. You also appear to have 2 copies of one of your data sources, which may also warrant looking at. So, my first question would be, you're not using published data sources, so is there a specific reason you are using a data Blend rather than a Relationship?

    Relate Your Data - Tableau

Having said that, looking at your image, it seems like the State should be displayed, as it's from the 'primary' data source, but there's also a new line at the bottom of your tooltip (the space below your four fields. tableau will only display all of the relevant fields in your tooltip by default if you haven't edited it, so it looks to me like you've clicked on the tooltip button, hit Enter, and then clicked okay (perhaps by mistake). If you click on the Tooltip button and then Reset, it will go back to displaying all of the values it can. Alternatively, click on Insert in the top right of the tooltip pop-up and you can make much nicer tooltips by typing in some text, and adding your fields inline.
