Request-URI Too Long

Hello All,

I am trying to store filter selection user has done and later display the same selection. The saving of fileters is working fine, but in some case where large numbers of filters are applied we see this message "Request-URI Too Long, The requested URL's length exceeds the capacity limit for this server."

Is there a way we can get around this by updating configuration options on our server.

Any help on this would be great, Thanks.
