Two versions of tableau server on same machine?

Hi All,

We have Tableau 2020.2.3 installed on windows machine and we would like to try to also install the beta version of 2020.3 to test certain new functionality.

Is it possible to install two different version of tableau server on the same machine? Or do I have to update my existing installation?

Any help on this would be really great, Thanks.

Hi Akshar, You cannot have 2 different version running on the same machine.

@Akshar Jamgaonkar​ as answered above you shouldn't have two versions on the same machine -  if you are looking to test functionality then the best advice would be to install within a test environment on a separate machine - maybe look at virtual solutions
