I'm trying to create a retention cohort analysis (screenshot attached of the desired layout). We are defining customers as active if they haven't cancelled their membership but they may not have placed an order every month.

I initially built it out using First and Repeat Order Months but it ended up excluding the customer count during months without an order so the retention rates increased and decreased based on orders placed rather than ongoing membership.

The sample attached gives you the structure where each row is a customer and order -- assume these are all customers who haven't' cancelled.

I'd love help in figuring out the way to write the calculation I can build the cohort analysis showing a customer as Active each month from their first order month through today, regardless of an order being placed that month.

Thank you!
