I successfully converted my .xls data source to a .hyper data source using Prep Builder. However, when I placed my .hyper file on Google Drive, it is grayed out and can't be selected as a data source. I need to keep all my data on google drive so that its not on my laptop. Any tricks?

Hi Irene,
Only CSV and Excel files can be read from cloudbased filesystems like Google Drive - Hyper files are not on the list.
You could create a script which automatically downlloads the Hyper file to a location which Tableau Server can reach, but it's definitely not an ideal situation...
