Webinar: Inside Nonprofit Technology Transitions

As a follow-up to the recent survey on the challenges of nonprofit technology transitions, I’m launching a series of occasional webinars where I’ll talk to nonprofit leaders and other experts to get their first-hand experience of taking on technology transitions. Whether it’s implementing a CRM, introducing systems for fundraising or mission management, or evaluting and adopting AI, we’ll discuss what they did, how they did it, how it went, and what lessons they learned along the way.

For the first installment, I’ll be joined by @Palmer Shepherd, Vice President of Operations & Governance at Global Fund for Children. Palmer co-led GFC’s transition from existing donor management, grantmaking, and email marketing systems to a consolidated Salesforce solution using Nonprofit Cloud. We’ll discuss GFC’s journey to Salesforce and, now that they are over a year past go-live, what’s working well, where the challenges are, and Palmer’s advice for others looking to make a similar transition. We’ll also have time for Q&A.
