Is there any way to pass Promotions recommended by Einstein Decisions within the triggered template to SFMC data extension?

I know we can pass Product Recommendations by Recipes in a Triggered Journey Template, but I was wondering if there's a way to do the same with Decisions. 

If anyone has a sample code that would be helpful, I've tried using the developer documentation, but it doesn't cover much on this. 

Also, if it were possible to pass the promotions, how would the mapping work with data extension? I have created a template that allows me to see recommended promotions in the payload. However, when I trigger the event, it fails, stating "Missing required API field," which makes me think it's a mapping problem.
