I changed my Salesforce My Domain name to learn more about it, but I didn’t update my login URL. Now, when I try to log in, I get the following error:
🔴 Error: This site can’t be reached – DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN
I am unable to access my org. Could you please help me with the following questions?
- How can I recover access to my Salesforce org after changing the My Domain name?
- Is there a way to reset or revert to the previous domain?
- Can I access my org using a direct Salesforce login URL instead?
- Is there a way for Salesforce Support to update my domain settings so I can log in again?
- How long does it take for a new My Domain to be fully active?

This usually happens because the new My Domain hasn’t fully propagated yet or the old login URL is cached somewhere. Try accessing your org through login.salesforce.com first and then check the updated My Domain settings from Setup if you can get in. A DNS flush or trying another browser/incognito mode can also help sometimes.
