How can we ensure person accounts/contacts related to a business account (via Primary Business Account field) are related to the same territory as the primary business account even if the person account/contact addresses are in different territories? Is there a way to do with using standard Sales Territories functionality? or do we have to use flow?

Ex) If we use states in our territory assignment rules and the Business Account is located in CA (West Territory), but a related contact is in NY (East Territory)-we would want that related contact to be in the same territory as Business Account (West Territory).

in SF the standard Sales Territories functionality typically assigns territories based on specific criteria such as address fields (ex: state, zip code) for an Account or Contact

however, when dealing with Person Accounts or Contacts that are related to a Business Account (via the Primary Business Account field), SF does not automatically assign the same territory to these related records as the Business Account if their addresses are in different territories.

you would be needing an automation here such as flow or apex trigger
