For some reason, when a Lead is added to a campaign or enters the database in general the lead masquerades as an Individual once clicked. The Lead can neither be deleted or converted (within SF or on the back end with data tools like Demand Tools). Has anyone ever seen this issue or know how to resolve it?

 

More importantly, I'm wondering how it is happening so I can stop it.

 

It happens only for a handful of leads in our webinar registrations but would like to resolve.

    Possibly your org has automation that is converting some Leads. Check for a Contact with the same email as one of these Leads that you cannot delete.
