Is there any release updates for NPSP in SUMMER'24? Any idea folks?
Hey all. I work on the team that produces the release notes for our nonprofit products. The release notes process has changed a bit over the years, and I appreciate the open and honest feedback.
Here's a little more info to help guide you on where to look for release information. First, you can get to the current release notes at any time by clicking the link in the side bar in this group. For Summer, the only change to NPSP that wasn't around test fixes is that we updated the NPSP release page in GitHub to provide a link to Known Issues as well as to the release notes on Help and Training. We added the Known Issue link on the GitHub release page because we don't include closed Known Issues in our release notes.
Tip: for our open-source products, you can get a summary of the pull requests included in the release by reading the beta releases on the NPSP release page on GitHub. Beta releases are the ones with something like "(Beta #)" in their title, like this one.
With regards to announcing the release, the product team typically posts in this group when the release is live in production orgs.
