Does it mean enhanced domains is already enabled by SF ? I think yes. But the reason I am asking, I decided to defer it in April month & not to auto-enabled by SF. As far as I know, Oct-2023 was the deadline from SF. Am I missing anything on it?
Hi @Mayank Pandya - I'm very glad that it sounds like you're not having any significant issues with enhanced domains.
To answer your question about why the feature was deployed with Summer '23, that was the case for all customers.
More Details
When you deferred the auto-deployment, that was only for the Spring '23 release (in February for production orgs). There was no option to opt out of the auto-deployment in the Summer '23 release. The only option in Summer '23 is to disable the feature after auto-deployment if you need more time to test and remediate issues. And the feature is enforced in Winter '23 (starting in August 2023 for sandbox orgs and in September 2023 for production orgs), meaning that it's deployed and can't be disabled.
The auto-deployment in Summer '23 was announced via the following methods:
- Winter '23 release note (updated with the new timeline November 7, 2023): Deploy Enhanced Domains (Release Update)
- Winter '23 release note (published on November 7, 2022): Review the New Timeline for Enhanced Domains
- Throughout our documentation, including the Enhanced Domains Timeline Help topic, which was also published in November 2022
- Spring '23 release note: Review the Milestones for Enhanced Domains Deployment and Enforcement

I hope that this helps.
