I recently did a database presentation at my nonprofit for all staff and while most of it was catered towards program teams, my colleague in HR actually reached out asking if there was an opportunity for HR to use Salesforce for their work. I really want to take advantage of this interest (user adoption is hard lol) and see if i can't come up with a few useful ideas to offer her. She did mention things like sending out HR updates/reminders to staff and a feedback form for reviewing supervisors, but open to hearing any other ideas. How are other nonprofits using Salesforce to support HR work? Tracking certain data? any specific processes that work particularly well in Salesforce? Is it best to check out 3rd party apps for a full solution? (i searched briefly and saw ones for "all in one" hr solutions and ones that just take care of one thing). Any simple customizations that I could add for a quick win? Any recommendations/suggestions/ideas would be appreciated!
