We're configuring a connection to our data in Google BigQuery for a client, and have discovered something odd; when we configure with the "Google BigQuery Connector", we're unable to see views as objects. When we use the Google BigQuery Direct Connector" (Live), we're able to see views as objects to be selected.
Is this a known limitation of the "Google BigQuery Connector" vs. the "Direct Connector"? I can't find a reference to it in the documentation, but it's always possible it's something I missed.
In our case, we didn’t want to depend on what the native connector exposed, so we used Skyvia to move the BigQuery data into a database first and worked from there.
