I need to record the previous value and current value of some fields in contact object. I need to populate this in new custom object called "Contact History". Contact history should record only the fields which are updated and should no update field should be blank.
For example if I am recording data in following fields
1. New First Name
2.Old First Name
3.New Last Name
4.Old Last Name
5.New City
6.Old City
If user updates first name in contact then only
1.New First Name and 2. Old first Name fields in Contact History object should be updated. Other fields should be blank but if update happens in both first name and last name then first 4 fields should be updated and others should be blank..
I am right now using process builder but it is updating all the field whether updated or not.
please suggest solution.
