Delete button shows up in Classic and not Lightning?

I have exhausted all I know to check, however, when I log in

#Sales Cloud #Integration as the user to view the object the "delete" button is not visible in lightning. It is visible in Classic. The page layout has the button on the Lightning experience section, etc. Not sure what else to try.
