I am frustrated with managing screen flow change. I tried to modify an existing screen flow with an update to LWC screen adding a boolean attribute and exposed it to flow. Now I wanted to change the type to text or remove that new attribute, however since it has connection to flow I can't. Previous versions make it even harder. If the LWC page is used for any other flow assignments, it gets more complicated.

You will not able to update LWC property if it is using in the flow. If anyhow you can just remove that specific property from the flow, that might work.
