Process builder dups

I have a process building that upon stage marked as WON, will create a new record in a new object and copy some of the fields from the opp object.

 The problem I am having, is that if the opp object is saved with updated data (while already in the WON stage), the process builder will execute again and create a duplicate record in the new object.

 Is there a way to:

1) Prohibit the process builder from running if the opportunity is already WON

or

2) Detect a duplicate record in the new object and do nothing
