Engagement Plans to Replace Custom Object?

Hi! We currently use two old version components of the NPSP (affiliations and relationships) and we do NOT use households in our org (we use bucket account affiliations). We currently have a custom object called 'Engagements' that doesn't do any of the fun stuff Engagement Plans do, so I'm looking to migrate off of the custom object and use Engagement plans. This would be for about 500 contacts in our org who are 'managed' from within our Advancement office. We do not do fundraising or track anything dollar-related in Salesforce (this is still in Ellucian Advance), but we do track every other way they engage with the school (e.g. mentoring program, executive experience, they're company is a big recruiter, etc.) Are there any gotchas to my plan to migrate? Any gotchas to Engagement Plans I'm unaware of?

    No you can use standard accounts-contacts, bucket or one-to-one account models.

     

    It's just that household is recommended and some functionality may not work for anything but the household model e.g npsp data import, possibly batch gift entry and I think customisable rollups have a dependency/assumption that you will be using the household model
