We use the stage Posted as our standard closed stage. However, even after I select Posted on the opportunity in Gift Entry, the stage changes to Closed Won once I process the batch. For several of our Sales Processes, Closed Won isn't even an option.
I see in the Donation Stage field on the NPSP Data Import object that it "Will set to Closed Won if left blank" but I'm not leaving that field blank? Is there a way to change this in the managed package?
I feel like I'm missing something obvious, but would appreciate any help.

Yes, we do have stages identified for each record type in the Sales Processes. And the appropriate stage options are showing up in the Gift Entry form based on the selected Record Type.
Also worth noting that Closed Won isn't even an option for a couple of Sales Processes. My best guess is that the Data Import must think the Opportunity Stage is being left blank for it to be reverting to Closed Won. And, again, this is only applying to existing opportunities, not new ones I enter through Gift Entry.
It's a small issue, but still puzzling. I've started bucketing my stages in my reports so it doesn't really matter that it's changing the level as long as it's still closed.
