Our constituents are having a hard time submitting donation or volunteer forms we created in Force.com because of the State and Country code fields - the first problem we had was: if the user typed United States in the country code, the form wouldn't go through, but there was no error message that would show you what the problem was, the form would just stay static, then they were able to add java script that populated in small text that people needed to fill out the fields with US and not spell it out, however our constituents are still having issues with this and because they are unable to see the error message they think their form has been submitted. What we would like to see is either have a pick list or have an ERROR pop-up window that tells you your form has not been submitted because of XXXX reason. We were wondering if anyone else was having similar issues

Force.com Sites is just a way of having a website work directly with Salesforce. It doesn't have forms built in, so at some point your organization worked with a developer to build them? Everything you're asking for is possible, but the developer has to work them into the page code. Do you still have a relationship with that developer or is this a form that was part of a package for your donation processor?
