It's Friday! I don't know about you, but this week flew by! I know a lot of you may be out today and/or Monday for the holiday weekend - if you are, enjoy your time away (from your computer)! Alright, now let's take our weekly pause - personally, I'm imagining a virtual deep breath from one of @Ashima Saigal's mindfulness sessions! - and let's take a moment to share the love, highlight wins and join together for support! It’s time for a #Friday Shout Out
#Friday Shout Out to @Marisa Lopez and @Amplify for creating the Circles of Support sessions, "small group of 5 - 7 Amplify members who communicate regularly through remote meetings and other channels (such as Slack) and find ways to build trust and support one another personally and professionally through this challenging time. Think of this as a circle of new friends to connect with on a regular basis. You are not alone!" I just love this, thanks so much for starting these off, Amplify team!
#Friday Shout Out (again!) to @Melissa Hill Dees and @Akash Mishra for organizing virtual social hours for the community to connect throughout the week -- these are great because they are a way for folks to connect casually, and also range in timezone, so folks from all over the world can join!
- Tuesdays (weekly) - Virtual Social Connect, hosted by @Akash Mishra
- Timezone: 9:30 pm IST
- Thursdays (weekly) - Nonprofit Virtual Social Hour, hosted by @Melissa Hill Dees
- Timezone: 11:00 am CDT
- Fridays (weekly) - Virtual Coffee Chat, hosted by @Anne Young and the Salesforce.org community team!
- Timezone: 8:00 am PT
- You can find links to join all virtual social gatherings in this Quip doc (which also lives in the @Nonprofit and Education MindShare group details, for reference!)
Also #Friday Shout Out to all the Community Group Leaders who are transitioning their meetings to virtual gatherings! I saw that @Matthew Poe is hosting a virtual community group gathering in NYC soon, congrats on leading the way! Anyone else been to or will soon be joining a virtual community group session? Give your leaders a shoutout!
Thanks also to everyone who continues to share their COVID-19-related resources, webinars, virtual events here in the Hub.
If you haven't already, I recommend you follow the #COVID-19 Comms topic and follow "Every Post" for all the updates. I share a weekly recap of COVID-19 related-resources (HERE) if you want to get highlights for the coming week.
Anyone else have any other #Friday Shout Out to give? Let's pay it forward and share the love!
